Big Bird Wants Out of the Obama Campaign – NOW!
Obama’s campaign is catching heat from the Street. Not Wall Street, Sesame Street! The producers of Sesame Street are slamming the campaign over a new ad that takes aim at Romney’s comments from the debate that he wants to cut federal funding to PBS, the station that hosts everyone’s favorite kids program Sesame street.
In a quick effort to stop Obama’s sinking ship, his campaign pulled together an ad that uses Big Birds fame to endorse Obama and the ad has hit the internet,
Once Big Bird’s peeps got wind of the video they sent a message to Obie’s team,
“Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns. We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down,”
The Obama camp is looking in to the concerns but has not yet officially pulled the camp pain.
