Keith Urban Returning to Idol?

So, we know that Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey will not be returning to American Idol next year. But what about Keith Urban? He’s the only judge who hasn’t left the show, so will he be coming back next year?

Well, E! News talked with Keith last night on the red carpet of the 2013 CMT awards. They asked him about his time on Idol and whether or not he would be back. “I have no idea! You probably know as much as I do!” he said. They also asked his wife Nicole Kidman if she enjoyed watching Keith Urban as a judge on the show…

“I did and I think he’s really, really good at doing something like that. I mean I’m glad he’s back to his music now, though.” she told the reporter. Urban then stepped in and explained that one of the reasons he enjoyed doing Idol so much was the fact that he could work on his music at the same time. “We get to do what we’re doing anyway. It’s not like we’re putting it on hiatus. We’ve been working on my album for the last year. It’s nice, it’s going to becoming out soon.”
