Bryan Cranston To Play Lex Luthor In Man of Steel Sequel?
Last week the internet raged after finding out Ben Affleck would play Batman in the new Man of Steel sequel. The decision to cast Affleck as batman was universally hated and the internet had a field day with the news. Memes were created, jokes were tweeted and long rants were written.
And now we’re getting more Man of Steel casting news, but this news shouldn’t get any backlash. ‘Breaking Bad’ star Bryan Cranston will reportedly play Lex Luthor in the much anticipated sequel.
Cosmic Book News is reporting that Cranston is not only signed on for this film, but the deal could lock him down as the villain for several more films to come. We don’t know any other details at this time, but confirmation of the news should come after the Breaking Bad series finale in late September.
Well, that should get people back on board! You’ve got to watch the movie if Bryan Cranston is going to be in it! That man is a fantastic actor. I know most people appreciate his work on Breaking Bad (and rightly so) but I still think of him as the stressed out dad from Malcolm in the Middle.
I miss that damn show. I’m sure Frankie Muniz misses that show, as well. His career never really went anywhere after that.
