Naya Rivera Will Not Be In Glee’s Season Finale, Is It Because Of Her Alleged Feud With Lea Michele?

You have probably heard the news by now. Naya Rivera will not be in Glee’s fifth season finale, and some websites are claiming it’s all because of her feud with Lea Michele.

Originally, Rivera’s character was supposed to be in the final episode, but she was written out of the script at the last minute. And even though this seems to add more credibility to the rumors, sources tell E! News this move had nothing with Lea Michele.

“[Naya] isn’t fired and her not being in the finale has nothing to do with Lea. I don’t know where these stories are coming from, but they are not true.”

Don’t believe the source? Understandable. But what about Rivera’s rep? The 27-year-old’s rep told E! News the following…

“Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story.”

It looks like the writers of the show just didn’t feel like Naya’s character should have a part in the finale. A huge fight between Lea and Naya certainly makes a better story, but it doesn’t look like that is the case here.

The Glee family appears to be stronger than ever. In fact, Rivera recently told reporters that Glee will always be her home.

“Well [Glee] is my home, so I’ll always be apart of it in some shape or form. I don’t know what the big picture looks like but it’s definitely my home base.”

It looks like things were just blown out of proportion. That seems to be the trend lately. The only thing worse than unnecessary drama is unnecessary, fake drama.
