Tiger Woods surprised his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn in Italy on Monday. The 30-year-old Olympic skier didn’t expect her boyfriend to show up at her record-breaking 63rd Alpine racing win. Just one day before the big event, Vonn told reporters that Woods would be watching the event from his house with his daughter.

But Tiger Woods decided to surprise his girlfriend by flying from his home in Florida to greet his special lady at the finish line. It was a bold move, but was it worth it? Maybe.

Even though Vonn told reporters after the race that she was extremely happy Tiger showed up, we have to imagine he is now having second thoughts.

While celebrating his girlfriend’s victory, Woods had his front tooth knocked out by a photographer. His agent, Mark Steinberg, sent out the following statement to NBC.

During a crush of photographers at the awards’ podium at the World Cup event in Italy, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged towards the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth. Woods’s tooth was knocked out by the incident.

Woods managed the situation by wearing a ski mask with a skeleton design on it; however, when he pulled the mask down for a brief moment, cameras were ready to capture it.

The good news is that a tooth can be replaced, especially when you got money in the bank like Tiger Woods. The bad news? Well, there really isn’t any bad news. He flew all the way to Italy just to support his girlfriend for the day. That’s a win in my book. And he got his tooth knocked out? He probably got some amazing sympathy head last night.
