Bobbi Kristina Is Not Progressing, According To Grandmother Cissy Houston

A little over three months ago, Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious at her home, and ever since then she has been fighting for her life inside a hospital and rehabilitation facility. And some of her family members have been giving updates with their heart. They hear only what they want to hear, which is certainly understandable.

But there has been one family member who has always been real with us. Grandmother Cissy Houston. She has been our best source for updates on Bobbi Kristina, and her latest update doesn’t sound good.

On Saturday, the 81-year-old told Entertainment Tonight the following…

She’s the same, she’s not progressing at all. She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her…I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.

It continues to sound like a miserable waiting game. From what we have been hearing, it doesn’t sound like Bobbi Kristina would have much of a life even if she did “recover.” If the reports are accurate, she suffered a lot of brain damage. I believe in her last update, Cissy called it “global and irreversible damage.”

But still, she continues to visit Bobbi…

We go to the hospital every day and pray. And, you know, I talk to [Bobbi Kristina] because she can still hear, and I rub her hand and whatnot.

Geez. It’s just a horrible situation. Our thoughts continue to go out to the family.
