While Khloe Kardashian Watches James Harden Play Basketball, Lamar Odom Gets Wonderful News Inside Hospital!

It’s the Friday before Halloween, so we’re going to end things on a positive note. Let’s begin with the good news from Lamar Odom’s remarkable recovery inside the hospital. According to TMZ, his kidneys have improved so much that he’ll no longer need the 6 hours of daily dialysis.

This is even surprising some of his doctors, because at one point they were certain he would need a kidney transplant to survive. In the last 48 hours, his kidneys have responded well enough for him to be moved out of ICU, which has to feel good for the former NBA star.

The next challenge for Lamar? Physical therapy. His motor skills have been impaired from the multiple strokes, so he will need to work hard to regain function. But let’s remember, Lamar Odom was a star basketball player in the NBA. He’s obviously not afraid of working hard.

Now let’s move to Khloe Kardashian. As you all should know, it’s been a stressful week or two for the reality star. She has been with Lamar at the hospital from day one. Talking with doctors, finding the best specialists, and making sure Odom knew he had someone looking out for him.

She deserved/needed a break, and it looks like she got one Wednesday night during James Harden’s NBA home opener with the Houston Rockets. She made the quick trip down to Houston without anyone noticing and cheered on her boyfriend from a suite inside the arena. Sadly, Harden’s team lost by 20 points, which was their largest opening night loss since 1982.

As we mentioned yesterday, Khloe and James are still 100% together. In her interview with People magazine, she had this to say about the relationship…

He’s been great with me, and I’m just allowing everything to unfold. If it’s ever too overwhelming [for him], then I understand that as well.

We wish them all the best!
