Sir Mix-a-Lot Says Leave Blake Lively Alone, She’s Simply Proud Of Her Oakland Booty!

It’s 2016 and nearly anything you say can be considered racist or offensive. People are definitely looking harder for things to be offended by, and thanks to the internet, it’s incredibly easy to find those things.

The latest racism controversy surrounds Blake Lively. She is currently expecting her second child with some dude named Ryan Reynolds, and on Tuesday she posted a photo of her “curvaceous backside” in a beautiful golden gown.

She captioned the photo: “L.A. face with an Oakland booty.”

As all of you should know (seriously, all of you) her caption is a line from Sir Mix-a-Lot’s 1992 hit Baby Got Back. For some reason, a small group of users on Instagram called her out for being a racist. We’re not exactly sure why, but it happened and the media decided to run with the story. Many people have demanded she remove the photo, but she refuses to take it down.

What does Sir-Mix-a-Lot think about the drama? Does he believe Blake should remove the photo? He talked with the New York Daily News on Thursday, and unsurprisingly, he supports the booty pics.

I don’t think she’d wear that dress if she thought that booty is horrible — and to me, it ain’t horrible. I don’t get it at all. She’s saying she’s proud of her butt. I’m glad she embraced the look, because that’s what I wanted (with the song).

YOU SEE? EVEN THE ARTIST BEHIND THE SONG IS COOL WITH IT! We can all calm down and focus on more important topics now. Donald Trump is still running for president, you know? That’s a thing that could potentially change the world, and we out here talking about Blake Lively’s booty? Come on now.
