Why On Earth Did Justin Bieber Turn Down $5 Million Performance? Well, Because Those Dirty Republicans Were The Ones Paying For It!

If someone offered you $5 million to perform for 45 minutes, would you do it? The answer is obviously yes. I would stand on stage naked, while Donald Trump licked peanut butter off my nipples for 45 minutes, if it meant I would be getting a $5 million paycheck.

But I am poor, which means I am more desperate than Justin Bieber. The 22-year-old singer already has millions of dollars, so he has the freedom to be more selective in his career. But still, $5 million is a lot of money for anyone, and the Biebs has never received that much money for a single performance. Heck, it’s more money than most every other singer in history has made for just one event.

It was the gig of a lifetime, but there was just one huge problem. The contract was being funded by GOP donors. You see, the performance was scheduled to take place at a Republican event during the GOP Convention. Bieber would perform for 45 minutes at a venue near Quicken Loans Arena, which is where the RNC was being held.

According to the report from TMZ, Bieber would have received the money before he got on stage, and all the production expenses would have been covered.

In addition to all that, the donors told Justin he would not be forced to endorse Trump. In fact, the event (according to the donors) wasn’t going to be political at all.

Sounds great, right? The Biebs was seriously considering it. However, that all changed when his manager Scooter Braun (a huge Hillary Clinton supporter) asked if they could put up ‘Black Lives Matter’ posters inside the venue. The donors hit back and said they could only put up banners that read, ‘All Lives Matter, ‘ which was the last straw for Scooter.

He allegedly told Bieber that the final decision was obviously up to him, but he added that he would no longer be able to represent him if he did. This, along with the fact that Bieber’s band didn’t want to perform, made the singer realize the money wasn’t worth it.

I know the big story here is, “JUSTIN BIEBER TURNS DOWN $5 MILLION PERFORMANCE,” but does it not make anyone else sick that people (associated with picking our future president) can just throw around $5 million like it’s nothing? I can’t even begin to understand the thinking behind something like that. There are so many great things you can do with that amount of money, and they wanted to waste it by spending 45 minutes with Justin Bieber?
