OUTTA HERE ASAP! Van From Black Ink Crew Says He’s Done with Chicago After His Cousin is Shot in the Face. (EMOTIONAL VIDEO)
I never realize just how bad it is in Chicago until I have to comb through the news stories for the details on a particular homicide. Searching through Google and trying to narrow down, all the homicides you get lost in reading all the horrific stories and start to realize just how good you have it. Even not so good, is pretty good compared to Chicago.
Seriously if you have the means, then you need to get out of Chicago ASAP. Or at least get your family out if you want to go back and give back and try to make things better. Just last week alone, there were 19 people shot and killed and 94 people shot and wounded. That’s crazy!
Right now a person in Chicago is shot every 2 hours and 32 minutes and a person is murdered every 13 and 37 minutes. It’s like a damn sick movie! Will it be you next? And when. If you have family and friends of about 500 people then someone you know is bound to be killed at that rate.
SO DID I FIND THE STORY ON VAN’S COUSIN?
Well I narrowed it all the way down and found what must be the story and it’s a shockingly simple one:
An 18-year-old man was fatally shot in Park Manor Friday afternoon, police said.
The incident occurred in the 7000 block of South State Street at 3:12 p.m. Friday.
The man was standing outside when a dark-colored car pulled alongside and someone got out shooting at him, police said.
The man was shot in his head and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
He was pronounced dead a few hours later.
No one is in custody.
(I should be able to confirm on Monday if this is the correct Homicide. I have questions submitted to the Chicago PD)
Basically there were 4 people shot and killed, the 18 year old above was the only one described as shot in the head and the incident occurred Friday which appears to line up with the social media posts. Just think, this entire boys life was narrowed down to about six sentences and two social media posts….
1st there was one from Black Ink Crew Chicago
And then Van made the following post. He says he’s outta here.
Will he really leave? I hope so. Being a tattoo artist he has skills that can transfer location just as easily as he can. I expect him to be packed up and out. However, it’s not that easy. It never is. You forget and settle back in. You are surrounded by friends and family and the familiar is always easy. Easy until tragedy strikes again.
Do you think Van will really leave or will he still be in Chi-town?
