The Beef Is Out The Oven: Hanson Calls Justin Bieber’s Music Chlamydia Of The Ear
Hanson, the pop/rock band responsible for the 1997 hit song MMMBop, is trying to make their way back into the headlines by attacking Justin Bieber.
During an interview with Australia’s Hit 107 FM, the brothers that make up the band (Taylor, Isaac and Zac) were asked to play a game of “Who Song Is It Anyway?”
The group was asked to identify Bieber’s remix of Daddy Yankee’s song Despacito. If you haven’t heard it, you can listen to it in the video above. We must warn you that it’s pretty catchy, so you might want to stay away from it, unless you don’t mind your friends knowing you listen to the Biebs on the reg.
Anyway, none of the brothers knew the song, and they were extremely happy about this: “Can I just say I’m glad I didn’t know what that was,” one of the brothers said.
Then they were informed that Bieber is featured on the track, and that’s when the blows started coming…
“I prefer not to get any venereal diseases, so whenever Justin Bieber gets near me or near my ears, it’s just ear infections. [His songs are] terrible.”
Another brother added, “Chlamydia of the ear. It sucks.”
Sounds like they are a bit jealous. Back in the ’90s, they were basically just like Bieber. Teen girls loved them, and everyone else hated them, so for them to call out Bieber like this is a bit ridiculous.
Everyone wants to come for you when you’re at the top. That being said, it is silly that Bieber is singing in Spanish on the track. He can’t even perform the song live because he doesn’t remember the words.
