Killer Mike Admits He’s Pretty Nervous To Take The Stage At Austin City Limits Festival After Las Vegas Shooting (VIDEO)
After the mass shooting in Las Vegas, you’d have to be a fool to say you aren’t at least a little scared. If a 64-year-old dude, with no history of violence, can kill nearly 60 people in 10 minutes, what is stopping anyone else from doing the same thing? It makes you realize how fragile life is.
Hopefully we can figure out a way to join together and change these ridiculous gun laws, but until then, it’s going to be a bit unnerving. The Austin City Limits Festival starts Friday night in Austin, and as you can imagine, a lot of the performers are scared.
Killer Mike is headlining the event, and during an interview with TMZ, the rapper/father revealed he is pretty damn nervous about his performance on Sunday night. He also said he understands if some people decide to stay home.
The good news is that law enforcement will cover the area around the festival. They will have patrols on foot, bike, car and ATV. They will also be watching over all buildings in the line of sight of the festival. Fortunately, there are not any tall buildings surrounding the park, so that shouldn’t be too much of a worry.
If you were planning on going to the festival, hopefully you don’t let the events in Las Vegas stop you. Don’t let fear ruin your life. And that goes for any type of fear. If you’re scared to ask a girl/boy out, don’t let fear hold you back. If you’re scared to ask for a raise at work, don’t let the fear prevent you from asking.
Be strong and have fun.
