Tyra Banks Get’s to Choppin Heads, Nigel Barker, and the J’s are Fired from Top Model
Just like most things in this genre “America’s Next Top Model” is getting a make over. Tyra Banks pulled a Donald Trump and fired Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel and J. Alexander. These three guys have been on the show for quite a while with Nigel Barker adding not only his expertise in the fashion world but also his photography skill and he’s also eye candy for the ladies.
TYRA TWEETED HER THANKS
On Twitter, Banks wrote,
“Fierce & love 2 my @NigelBarker, @MrJayManuel & Miss J. #ANTM turned us in2 a family. Excited for what the future holds for us. XOXO TyTy.”
In annoying twitter fashion Nigel thanked Tyra and Miss J also tweeted in. The exchange can be seen below.
Just once I wish someone would Tweet – “F*CK YOU TYRA AND YOUR DUMB A$$ SHOW” but of course that never happens.
The executive producer for the show also sent his thanks,
“Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel and J. Alexander have been an integral part of the ‘America’s Next Top Model’ brand and they helped turn this show into the household name it is today. They have been amazing assets to the show and will always be a part of the ‘Top Model’ family. We will continue to actively work with each of them on future projects.”
However, with the shows 18th season being it’s worse in ratings, there is no place to go with these changes but up. Rumor has it the show will be taking a twist and focusing more on social media and the internet. Do you think this is a good decision?

Racist Trap Causes Swedish Minister of Culture to Be Photographed Laughing Over the Mutalation of African Women. [video]
The Swedish Artists Organization was putting together a celebration of World Art Day and asked a few of the participating artist to create birthday cakes as it was also the 75th birthday of the organization.
The Swedish Minister of Culture, Lena Adelsohn-Liljeroth was asked to cut the first piece of cake. She was warned that the cake was artistic and had to do with female genital mutilation.
The cake was wheeled out and uncovered to reveal, what is an insensitive portrayal of an African, complete with jet black skin, huge wide white eyes and huge pink red lips. Even further horrifying is the torso ends up with its lower regions exposed and in order to eat the cake you must cut it, thus mutilating its genitals. WOW!

This was clearly a very well-orchestrated plot. Linde wanted to actually capture the picture that you see above. What can’t be seen in the picture is the performance of Linde during the cake cutting. Mind you, Linde is a black man so he knew what he was doing and his art is famous for depicting black people in black face.
In order to cut the cake you basically had to perform a clitoridectomy. As Lena Adelsohn-Liljeroth goes to cut the first piece, Linde begins to scream in pain. I have to admit….it’s pretty funny. Everyone in the room thought so.
The outcome you get is a still photo of The Swedish Minister of Culture, smiling over a mutilated African woman, feeding her, her own clitoris. In the backdrop you get a sea of white faces laughing and cheering her on. THAT’S THE WORK OF ART! That is what Makode was trying to create and he was successful.
Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth tries desperately to defend herself,
“I was invited to speak at World Art Day about art’s freedom and the right to provoke. And then they wanted me to cut the cake. [He] claims that it challenges a romanticized and exorcized view from the west about something that is really about violence and racism. Art needs to be provocative.”
It was all to no avail. The viral nature of the photo, and the emotional charge of the subject of race and female mutilation proved too much to overcome. Her resignation is now being called for.
The video really tells it all, you see how funny it is when the black-faced Linde starts to comically scream. If anything I think he should be condemned for making a mockery of the practice of female mutalization.

Everyone says that they know Ali Landry from some Dorritos commercial that was on back in 1998. I still don’t remember it, so I had to look it up. I saved you the trouble. Here it is:
Ok – I remember that commercial. Well Ali was on the “Wendy Williams Show” promoting her new reality series “Hollywood Moms Night” when Wendy dug into the details of her relationship with Mario loepz.
Despite doing Doritos commercials we all know that she was also doing A.C. Slater – for 6 years. Her and Mario Lopez actually got married back in 2004 but had the wedding annulled 2 weeks later.
Leave it to Wendy to get a girl to dish the real scoop. Landry said that she knew something was up but didn’t have the heart to call off the wedding.
I had heard something right before the wedding and he swore that it was not true, nothing was true. But I had that feeling in my gut. And, you know, all my family (members) were flying away, it was like a destination wedding, it was like a big trip for them. I really should have put the brakes on it at that point. I was afraid.”

After the honeymoon, Landry told her girlfriend that she still suspected something not right and her girlfriend told her that she could tap his phone!
“One of my girlfriends said, ‘If you really want to know, I know how to tap a phone…’ So she did it. And right after the honeymoon I started getting these phone calls from these girls. I confronted him (Lopez) and he denied it. He never apologized.”

Michael Vick Just One Check Away From Completely Re-paying All Debts to Society. Is he Finally Forgiven?
Believe it or not Michael Vick has been with the Eagles now since 2009. It seems like just yesterday they took the gamble and signed him. Well before he had a team to play for he filed bankruptcy back in July of 2008.
Vick had a 10 year $130 Million contract and watched it all go down the drain. Somehow getting paid on average $13 Million per year wasn’t enough for Vick, he racked up $20 Million in bills and with no contract, no team and a job working construction (when he was released) he had no way to repay even $100,000 let alone $20 Million.
After getting picked up by the eagles with another huge contract ($100 Million over six years, with $40 Million guaranteed), he has whittled his debts down to just $400,000.
It appears now he only owes, BMW, Bank of America and taxes. With his debt to society paid, and soon his debt to his creditors Michael Vick, will now be a accepted and forgive by all.
NOT! People still hate him and until he is winning the Superbowl, they will continue to hate him.

All American Muslim Gets the Axe After it’s First Season.
It’s a wrap! (No pun intended). TLC’s All American Muslim is done before it really got started. The show was filmed in Dearborn, MI and featured 5 Lebanese American families in a “Real Housewives” type of show.
The show hit the airwaves with controversy when Lowe’s, after reviewing he premise of the show, pulled their ads. Upon doing so they released the following statement,
“While we continue to advertise on various cable networks, including TLC, there are certain programs that do not meet Lowe’s advertising guidelines, including the show you brought to our attention. Lowe’s will no longer be advertising on that program.”
Wow, that’s a little harsh.
Russell Simmons, Mia Farrow and a few other notable celebrities decided to boycott Lowes in support of the show.
All of the drama created by the Lowe’s incident generated 1.7 million viewers for the show’s premier episode. The season finale retained less than half of those viewers, 729,000 to be exact.
Part of the decline in viewership had to be due to a mis-alignment of expectations. When you watch a show called All American Muslim, you expect to see Muslims wrapped in all their religious gear. You expect to see prayer, and how the religion impacts their daily life. Instead it was just a reality show about nothing. It was almost like any other show. And just like any other show, when the numbers aren’t there, you get the axe.
