YOU’RE FIRED! Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler were Actually Let Go From American Idol!
Reports from the dailymail and our buddy Perez Hilton are backing up the email I received telling me that J. Lo and Steven Tyler didn’t quit, they actually got fired.
The whole tearful admission to Seacrest was reportedly all a farce.
J. Lo WANTED MORE DOUGH!
Jennifer Lopez who was getting what was originally thought to be $12 million but was later verified that she was earning $15 million and she wanted a raise.

She wanted a $2 million dollar raise and Fox flat out said no. They didn’t even counter.
Then they decided just not to renew Steven Tylers option.
The whole, “After some long hard thoughts, I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go my mistress “American Idol before” she boils the rabbit” was bull. The decision was made for him. It appears that the mistress dropped him first. The decision to go on tour with Aerosmith is a lot easier when you compare it to being unemployed.
RANDY IS ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK
Yo Dawg – Randy better get his resume updated and start friending people on Linked-In because he is right there on the cutting edge. Rumor has it that he’s next. They are looking at revamping Idol completely and leaving just Ryan Seacrest. For now, Randy is playing the role as supportive co-judge and 100% Pro-Idol and it’s choices. In the wake of the Lopez-Tyler booting he says,
“Steven and Jennifer are truly two of the most talented and consummate professionals I’ve worked with. I was friends with them before we hopped on this crazy journey together and I have no doubt our friendships will continue long after. I will love them for life.”
I would actually hate to see the Rand-man go. Hopefully he can hang on long enough to fall in sync with the new judges. Possible talks now are: Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.

Steven Tyler is Done! He Quits American Idol After Only Two Seasons!
How about that for a shocker! Everyone was all gassed over J-Lo’s statements yesterday on NBC’s “The Today Show”, that she might leave “Idol’ that no one paid attention to Steven Tyler! I’m sure that was and is part of the problem.
After just two seasons, Tyler announced that he was no longer doing Idol. He released a statement yesterday saying,
“After some long, hard thoughts, I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress ‘American Idol’ before she boils my rabbit,”
“I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I’m back. … The next few years are going to be dedicated to kicking some serious ass.”
This really isn’t a blow for the shows creator Simon Fuller, instead he sees it as a golden opportunity. He expressed his understanding for Tyler wanting to get back to work stating,
”I completely understand his desire to get back to his life as the singer in America’s greatest-ever rock band.”
Let’s face it, Tyler is great but when he leaves fans of the show are still sticking around.
I think Fuller would be more concerned if J-lo left because she would be much harder to replace then Tyler and she would take some fans with her. Just yesterday she had the internet all buzzing just because she said that she was unsure if she was returning to the show in January. Lopez told NBC’s Today Show,
“I’ve just enjoyed it so much. But I am thinking that maybe it’s time for me to go and do other things that I really love to do… but then again, I really love the show!”
As we see with “America’s Got Talent”, “The Voice” and “The X Factor” the selection of judges can and will make or break the show. Idol has a chance to replace 1 maybe 2. If done right it can see ratings soar or if screwed up, it could mean disaster for the franchise. Recent discussions have been around Adam Lambert as a potential judge, which in my opinion would be a huge mistake. I say, pay Lopez whatever she needs to stay for at least 2 more seasons and bring in another legend like Maria Carey, or a male with personality and a huge following.
I wonder what Paula is doing these days. This could get interesting. Stay tuned.

Read more...Steven Tyler Cancels Show After Knocking out Two of His Teeth!
You know I’m not a fan of cancelling shows but this is an exception. Wild man, and American Idol fan favorite, Steven Tyler had to go to the hospital after knocking out two of his teeth.
That’s what happens when you fall in the shower!! He was at the Bourbon Hotel in Asuncion, Paraguay where he was staying so that he can perform tonight with Aerosmith, when he fell in the shower suffering from facial cuts and knocking out two teeth.
A representative from the concert organizers said that the shower fall was from food poisoning. WTF?
I’ve heard of getting the sh@#ts from food poisoning but not getting the “shower falls”.
Apparently the food poisoning left him dehydrated (that’s where the sh@#ts come in), due to the dehydration he became disoriented and fell.
He had to receive stitches and emergency dental work at the La Costa medical center in Paraguay.
Another rep from the concert organizers released a statement:
‘Mr. Tyler had a small accident that prevents him from staging the concert tonight,’
‘He is fine, he’s in his hotel but he’s not able to do the concert,’Antunez said, adding the show would be postponed until Wednesday.
Tyler being the true performer that he is, vows to put on the show Wednesday night, even if he sounds like Sylvester. “Sufferin Succotash”
