The Moesha Curse Continues: Yvette Wilson’s Death Marks The Fourth Member of the Cast To Die
Is this your first time hearing about The Moesha curse? It’s similar to that of Saturday night live. Yvette Wilson’s death is the 5th person that had a recurring role on that show to die in just the last 10 years. The strange part isn’t that they all died, but they died way before their time. None of the made it over 50.
Let’s take a look at the deaths:
NAME: Merlin Santanta
ROLE: Ohagi
AGE (at Time of Death): 26
Do you remember him from the Cosby show? . He was Stanley the kid that went to war with Kenny for Rudy affection. He then went on to play Ohagi on Moesha before his most famous role as Romeo on the Steve Harvey Show.
HIS DEATH – Shot six times in South Los Angles
A girl by the name of Monique King told her boyfriend Damien Andre Gates that Santana had raped her. Gates and another man named Brandon Douglas Byrnes found Santana and a friend sitting in a car where they shot him six times. During questioning related to the incident it was discovered that Monique King was lying and the whole thing was a set up. Gates received 3 life sentences plus 70 years, Byrnes received 23 years and King received 8 years in a juvenile facility. She was only 15.
UPDATE ON MONIQUE KING: SHE WAS RELEASED.
Monique King was released for the time served in her role with Merlin’s death but was then had 2 misdeameanor arrestes in Long Beach, CA. She was sentenced back in Feb. 29, 2012 and served 20 days and was released. She was then arrested again on March 10, 2012 in Hollywood. She is now 26 years old and apparently still hasn’t learned.
NAME: Artius Lamont Bentley
ROLE: Hakeem
AGE (at Time of Death): 35
Bentley, another young talent was killed in a car accident. He played Hakeem, the next store neighbor of Moesha, who bummed a ride to school and ate their food.
HIS DEATH – Car Accident
In 2005 Bentley was driving in the early morning on Highway 118 in Simi Valley at a high rate of speed.
His Mercedes –Benz was seen running through a stop sign, breaking through a chain link fence, going down an embankment and ejecting him from the vehicle. He was struck by 5 cars before the authorizes could get to him. Initial tests showed no drugs or alcohols in his system.
NAME: Bernie Mac
ROLE: Uncle Bernie
AGE (at Time of Death): 50
HIS DEATH: – Sarcoidosis
The most famous of them all. Before the Bernie mac show he played Uncle Bernie for 11 episodes. His illness took everyone by surprise. In Aug of 2008 he was admitted to a hospital in Chicago. He was treated for a week unsuccessfully and died on August 9th from sarcoidosis which was complicated by pneumonia. Sarcoidosis is an autoimmune disease that causes tissue in your body to swell and this often affects the lungs but any organ can be affected. The illness occurs gradually and can be asymptomatic or chronic. Only 10% of people develop a serious disability and fewer then that die from it.
NAME:Yvette Wilson
ROLE:Andell
AGE (at Time of Death): 48
HER DEATH:Cancer
The most recent victim of the curse. She beat cancer and it came back. The return was very aggressive. She was in stage 4 when discovered that she also needed two kidney transplants. Eventually she was overcome by the illness passing away last week.
People like to put Brandy in that category because of the women that she hit and killed in a car accident but I don’t think it belongs in that group. I think 4 people in 10 years is enough without adding any embellishment in to the mix. If I wasn’t convinced then I am convinced now. Curse or coincidence you have to admit, it’s a little on the scary side.

More Trouble for Lindsay. Lohan’s Lies Regarding Car Accident Could be a Violation of Her Probation.
Lohan just can’t stay out of trouble, but I don’t feel that bad because she brings a lot of it on herself. The actress is still on probation and when she got into the accident on Friday, she told police that she wasn’t driving. It was her assistant that was driving the black Porsche not her. Another inconsistency in what would be hodge-podge of details concerning what could have been a simple rear-ending.
The driver came forward and said that he was bribed not to say anything as he witnessed Lindsay and her assistant leaving the car and getting into another vehicle taking a pink bag. He was asked not to report the accident and not to mention the existence of the bag.
When Lohan tried to blame the accident on the driver he mentioned that there were eye witnesses and possible video. Lindsay then said she was the driver but the brakes, despite being replaced just days before had failed.
Police will reportedly file a report with the claims she lied to cops, which is a crime. The lie could trigger a probation violation report in her shoplifting case, which could mean she will face jail time.
Me thinks Me Smells a cover up.
They should have given her a drug test because if it was a simple crash then then all of this shuckin’ and jiving would not be necessary. She was worried because something wasn’t right. She might have dodged a bullet here….if she can get out of the charge of lying to the cop. This girl has 9 lives but she is probably down to her last two.

Lindsay Lohan Crashes a Rental Porsche On Her Way To Work [photos]
We learned late yesterday that Lohan had been involved in a pretty bad car accident, and now we have pictures to back that up. It looks much worse than it was.
HOW DID THE ACCIDENT OCCUR?
Not a complex story at all. She simply ran into the back of An 18 wheeler in L.A. She was driving down the Pacific Coast Highway where she claims the big rig cut her off. She was on her way to the movie set of her latest project Liz & Dick, a movie in which she will be playing Elizabeth Talyor.
Preliminary investigations show no wrong doing on Lindsay’s part and she didn’t appear to be under the influence.
The best part is, her assistant was also in the car with her but it seems like no one could care less. This looks like a texting accident to me because it’s not a side swipe but a person who hit the brakes too late because they weren’t paying attention.
I just hope that she signed up for the extra insurance, the Porsche was a rental!
Remember that from Sienfeld? “You better give me the insurance because I’m going to beat the hell out of this car”

Sophia Vergara is Single! Rumor has it her and Boyfriend of 2 years Nick Loeb are Done!
Rumors started to fly after Vergara was seen at the Met Ball all by herself. At the ball the NY Post reports that she was venting telling friends that her and Nick were done,
“Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split. They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now.”
Despite Vergara’s insistence that Loeb likes the Hollywood scene, their break up is rumored to be due to her explosion of fame. In the two years since they started dating, Vergara has gone from having a promising acting career to now being one of the most famous women on TV and a famous sex symbol all over the world. Everyone just loves her and Nick hates that.
Vergara said that Loeb thought the Hollywood scene was fun, like a hobby. They even met at 2010’s Golden Globe Awards. She said previously during an interview,
“He loves my career, He likes coming to these events. For him, it’s like a hobby to be part of this Hollywood scene.”
Nick Loeb’s money has money. Loeb himself is famous for creating the Onion Crunch food topping. At only 36 years old he is an accomplished businessman and politician, he was running for a Senate seat in Florida but ailments from a car accident in 2010 slowed him down and he withdrew from the race. He is also the great grandson of one of the founding Lehman brothers – Cha-Ching.
With no official word from either of them, and Loeb’s twitter avatar still posting a pic of he and her together we won’t know if the break up is 100% certain yet, however my gut says it’s a Wrap!

Video of Lane Garrison Slapping Mattingly might Seal his Fate!
Lane Garrison was in a prison that he couldn’t break out of this time. The Prison Break star was arrested on Sunday and decided to spend the night in lock up.
He was arrested on charges of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend Playboy Playmate Ashley Mattingly. The incident happened on Saturday night but after the cops were called Lane Garrison broke out. When the police arrived they could see what they call “visible marks” on Mattingly.
IT WASN’T ME!
Garrison’s attorney says that his client is innocent. He said he was dog sitting for a friend who lives in eh same building as Mattingly when he ran into her in the lobby on his way out. The two started arguing and Mattingly got so pissed that she hurled Garrison’s cell phone against the wall. He then, only put his hands on her shoulders to sit her down in a chair. Then he left. He says that the injuries that the police found were probably self-inflicted.
THE SMOKING GUN!
Shortly after writing the top half of the story, security footage from the lobby was released and you can see Mattingly with a cell phone in her hand and Garrison “Beyatch Slapping her”. That is a wrap! 
The stakes are high for Garrison, He is on parole from a car accident in which he killed a high school student back in 2006. He was only 5 days away from being completely off parole, but if convicted not only would he be charged with domestic violence, but the manslaughter charge will be back on the table. From the looks of the video footage, he’s toast. As they say, Ray Charles can see that he’s guilty.

I’m not sure I exactly buy into that.
Reports say that the 15 year old who died due to the car accident, could have survived if someone would have just helped him.
To recap the tragic incident:
First of all everyone wants to know, “What kind of car was Lamar Odom driving”. I actually got emails on that.
Lamar was “being driven” in an Escalade, what did you expect?
Anyway….the motorcycle, driven by Christian Mora was turning the corner when it hit the front bumper of the truck and spun out of control. Then the motorcycle itself hit young Awsaf Islam.
Reports from a 13 year old kid at the scene (Adolfo Ramirez – not sure why we are naming 13 year olds but here is his 15 minutes of fame) but he says dude was laid out and nobody cared, as quoted in the Daily News,
‘Everybody was paying attention to him. Nobody cared about the kid.’
That “him”, was Lamar Odom.
Odom was reported as shedding a few tears at the scene.
Christian Mora got off easy considering, he ended up with a fractured ankle but otherwise in stable condition. Lamar and his driver were both uninjured.
Khloe was not with Lamar at the time of the accident as even I previously reported. How did we get that wrong? Her absence has been confirmed by her publicist. That’s one of those times where you are lucky you don’t have a mistress traveling with you. Way to behave Lamar!

Another headline reads

I think that’s a little harsh. It must have been a Zoo-vie (A zoo, and a movie Hot 97 ref. ) Think of the chaos that must have been going on, and then to see all 6 ft. 10 inches of Lamar Odom to emerge from the vehicle…..you can’t really blame spectators too much, of course you would be gawking. Now to say that the boy could have lived if people paid more attention to him….that’s a little harsh without substantiating it. There is no detail of the boy’s injuries. Was the ambulance called too late, should the boy had been propped up, laid down, turned over? You would have to have these facts before you can make a claim that he died because of onlookers. Not saying that it’s not true, but it’s not proven.
Don’t make news out of something that is already news.
