Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson Team up for New HBO Detective Series
It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited about a TV but True Detective has all the makings of something serious. I have always thought that Harrelson and McConaughey oddly enough reminded me of each other, now they will be the main focal points of what is being described as an elevated serial narrative.
McConaughey and Harrelson will be playing two detectives who cross paths during a hunt for a serial killer. The hunt starts in 1995 and takes you right to today. It will be only 8 episodes which at the end the case is resolved. If picked up for future seasons, season 2 will be new characters and new stories…..ala’ American Horror Story.
Production is ready to start immediately. Two episodes are written and ready to shoot.
This will be McConaughey’s first taste of TV where it’s an old hat for Harrelson who we all know and loved for years as Woody. He also had a small seven episode stint on Will & Grace, but we’ve most recently loved him in Hunger Games.
McConaughey and Harrelson have costarred in two movies before Edtv and Surfer, Dude but this will be their first Television show together.

George Zimmerman’s legal Team Quits, Hours before Prosecutor Announces that New Information Will be Revealed.
I’m not sure if the two incidents are related or if Zimmerman’s legal donation fund website had anything to do with it, but George Zimmerman’s legal team has left the building.
Attorneys Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig announced today at a press conference that they are withdrawing from the case. The reason they provided was that Zimmerman was not answering calls, texts nor emails. During a press conference today, the legal team made the following statement,
“We’re not taking the position that we’re leaving him, Communication can’t be one way. … I can’t hold myself out as the attorney of record at this point. It wouldn’t be ethical for me. … That’s why I’m stepping back.”
I suspect that there is more to this then we know or that the lawyers are willing to reveal. They said they had no spoken to Zimmerman since Sunday. Sunday? That’s not really what I would call a long time. However, there was some shady “goings” on Sunday.
THE WEBSITE SWITHEROO
Sunday the lawyers validated the website that Zimmerman set up to collect legal donations. The next day Zimmerman announced a separate website unbeknownst to his attorneys. This was not the first lapse in communication with Zimmerman.
Craig Sonner stated,
“lots of things going on that I don’t know about,”
The two attorneys also admit that they have never, ever met Zimmerman in person. They also clearly say that he’s not in Florida so everyone can stop looking there.
“He can’t go out to a 7/11 to buy a Diet Coke. There’s a bounty out there,”
“You can stop looking for him in Florida. Look much further than that.”
“We frankly believe that the correct decision would be not to charge him,”
Somehow without ever meeting the 28 year old Zimmerman and bailing on him early in what appears to be a long, drawn out public war, the two attorneys still claim that he is innocent and should not be charged,
“We frankly believe that the correct decision would be not to charge him, We hope for the best for George Zimmerman.”
This now leaves an opportunity of a life time for an attorney team looking to make a public splash. The issue is not only the death threats and safety concern for Zimmerman, the same concerns would apply to anyone who decided to take on this case. Would the juice be worth the squeeze? That’s the million dollar question!

Octomom, Nadya Suleman Goes on Welfare, The Public Reacts with Death Threats!
After the celebrity boxing bit, an attempt at a reality show and then last week’s nude photos, I knew that Octomom was running out of loot. All the smack talking she did about not going on welfare but it was inevitable. When the news came about that Nadya Suleman was on welfare, the response was not nice.
TMZ reported that she started to receive phone calls and her facebook has been attacked
A typical friendly facebook note,
“Die bitch. I’m not working for your f**king kids, you’re the one that wanted them.”
YIKES!! How about,
“I”m not working to f**king pay –”
or the ever so popular,
“F**k you, you don’t deserve–.”
HOW MUCH IS NADYA SULEMAN GETTING FROM WELFARE??
She is reportedly getting $2000 per month, $500 per week. In order to not receive benefits from the state, she has to make over $119,000 per year. This is a hefty sum but it’s the requirement for a family of 15. Yep, 15. She has six other kids outside of the octuplets.
That’s why everyone is pissed! They should have taken her V-jayjay away from her after the first six kids, or charge the doctors who implanted the embryo’s some child support. That would have put a stop to this madness a long time ago.

Khloe Ends Relationship with PETA after Flour Bombing Incident Linked to the Organization.
It’s been reported that last weeks flour bombing incident was done by a member of PETA!
Say no more. Khloe is ditching her support for the foundation. I mean really, how could she be expected to support any organization who would attack her sister….and yes it was an attack. It’s actually pretty scarey when you think about it. That flour could have been any substance.
Khloe wrote on her website,
“I’m sure you all heard what happened to Kim last week, I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise. Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior.”
Honestly, you don’t have to back PETA to be against fur.
“I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don’t condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that. I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions — I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them, I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won’t be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise.”
I didn’t think about it really as bullying, but I guess it kind of was huh?
PETA took the high road, but still took the opportunity to get a dig in on Kim.
“We appreciate that Khloe will remain on the animals’ side by not wearing fur—that’s what counts. If one of our volunteers is responsible, it doesn’t alter the fact that no animal deserves to be electrocuted, shot, or poisoned for a bit of fur clothing. Khloe is just defending her sister, and we know she has a good heart, so we wish her well. We just wish she also had more influence on her sister.”
Charges against the women haven’t been formally pressed yet, but I’m expecting them to come. The video is sort of funny at the same time it’s scary as hell. If you are crazy enough to hit Kim Kardashian with a bag of flour, what else are you capable of. If I hit anyone with a bag of flour I would be locked up before the story hit TMZ.

Daniel Radcliffe Admits Past Drinking Problem – Says he was Drunk During Certain Scenes of he Potter Movies
What do you do when you are growing up, surrounded by people 3 times your age, and the star of the biggest grossing film franchise of all time ($7.7 billion), you get drunk!! By the way, the film wasn’t the only thing grossing, Radliffe’s personal bank account is now worth an estimated $75 Million.
Radcliffe admits that he has worked hard to counter everyone’s expectations. As a child actor everyone thinks he’s going to be a brat, but instead he comes off as pleasant and somewhat engaging. The Start tells the LA Times
“Ever since I was 15, I’ve kind of known what people expect when I walk into the room: ‘Oh, he was a child actor. He’s gonna be a … nightmare,’ I try as hard as I can to counteract that image immediately.”
This is the main reason he quit drinking 18 months ago. The shame of being a loud mouth drunk was too much to bare. Daniel wasn’t just getting tipsy, Harry Potter was getting’ tore up, from the floor up!! Radcliffe reveals,
I’m very good fun for the first four drinks, and then after that it’s a rapid, rapid decline into where I have to be helped home. Blackout was kind of my thing,”
DRUNK WHILE FILIMING POTTER FILMS
Although all the latest headlines are that Radcliffe filmed Harry Potter drunk, he never got drunk while filming. He was drunk the night before, and sometime was still drunk the next day on the set. In fact he says he can point to many scenes where he is just
“Gone, dead behind the eyes”
He said it got so bad that he was a shut in, drinking by himself. In his Interview with ShortList Magazine he says,
“It was pathetic — it wasn’t me. I’m a fun, polite person and it turned me into a rude bore. For a long time people were saying to me, ‘We think you have a problem,’ but in the end I had to come to the realization myself.”
Gary Oldman helped convince Daniel to stop drinking; telling the young star that he had “too much to lose”.
He said his drinking habit came from being around older people and hearing all the escapades of wonderful drunken nights, but he himself has never had a drunken night he can brag about. He started working on the Harry Potter movies at age 11. Some people say he didn’t have a childhood. Radcliffe sets these people straight. The 22 year olds says,
“People always say stuff like, ‘You didn’t have a childhood, That’s an insulting thing to say to somebody. Being on a film set is a fantastic place for a 10-year-old boy…. I would just be a nuisance in any other line of work. I think if I was in an office, I might come in one day and kill everyone. I might be one of those guys who just goes crazy.”

He admits that he was lucky, the media somehow was able to miss this, and his clean, unblemished reputation is still intact today, and has carried him through the Potter franchise and a Broadway Production of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”.
This round of interviews and press is part of his promotions tour for “The Woman in Black” which released yesterday. This will test if he truly has a built in fan base, or was it just the Potter franchise.

Christina Aguilera Goes Bra-less in her Thomas Wylde and Sets the Record Straight About Her Weight [photos]
Christina thinks she is setting the record straight about her weight, but I’m call BULL! There is no way she is happy being that big, and this always happens. These female stars say, how happy and confident they are….then 5 years from now they lose the weight and admit that they were damn near suicidal. Remember she is only 5 ft 2. No Bra and her girls are spilling all over the place! What a mess. It’s more of a shame, then a mess. It’s a shame because you know that she can pull it together and look spectacular!
In response to all the criticism during the Television Critics Association panel for the Voice she says,
“I’m happy where I am, I have a boyfriend (Matthew Rutler) who loves my body, I love my body, my son is healthy and happy, That’s all that matters. As long as I’m happy in my own skin, that’s all I need, that’s all the confirmation I need. I’ve been in this for a long time, I came out on the scene when I was 17 years old. [I was told] ‘You can never be too much of anything. You can never be too prefect, too thin, too curvy, too voluptuous,’ this, that. I’ve been on all sides of the spectrum.”
I agree, and you do too. Remember how she used to give it to Kelly Osbourne? Now the new slim Kelly is having the last laugh for now.
