George Lucas is Engaged to His Longtime Nubian Princess, Mellody Hobson!
Old Georgie is ready to settle down. After selling off Lucasfilm to Disney for a whopping $4 billion, he is ready to move on to bigger and better things. After seven years of dating, he has decided to propose to his girlfriend Mellody Hobson.
The couple will not be spending that $4 billion windfall. Lucas plans to donate the entire lot to a foundation that focuses on educational issues. He told the press that this was his plans as well as hinting about marriage referring to it as a “new chapter. He said,
“For 41 years, the majority of my time and money has been put into the company. As I start a new chapter in my life, it is gratifying that I have the opportunity to devote more time and resources to philanthropy.”
Without the sale of Lucasfilm, George was worth $3.3 billion so the couple will be doing well. However, don’t sleep on his fiancé’s success. The 43 year old Hobson is the president of Ariel Investments. She has her own Forbes page and has served on the boards of several high profile companies such as Dreamworks, Starbucks, Estee Lauder and Groupon.
This will be the 2nd marriage for the 68 year old Lucas and the first one for Mellody Hobson.

Bethenny Frankel and Husband Jason Hoppy Split Only After 2 Years of Marriage
Bethenny Frankel has confirmed her split with husband Jason Hoppy. The two have been married only for 2 years but it appears much longer, I guess that’s because her relationship has never been a private matter.
We all watched as Frankel met Hoppy when she was on the Real Housewives of NY. Then we watched their marriage on two seasons of her reality show. Now we are again on the sidelines watching it unravel. In the last season of her show, we saw them working through the kinks but alas it appears that there was too much to overcome.
Bethenny released a statement confirming the split
This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family,’
We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority.
‘This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.’
Since Frankel’s rise to fame she has done more away from the “Housewives” franchise than any other Housewife. She hit it big with her Skinny girl cocktails, and then released shapewear, supplements, fitness videos, books and now has her own talk show. With all that and a two year old there might not be any room for Jason.

Season 2: Bethenny Ever After…
What will be the title if there was a Season 3? “Bethenny, divorced and getting her groove back?”
Who knows, maybe they will reconcile, but watching them on their show…I highly doubt it.

Alfonso Ribeiro Marries Fiance Angela Unkrich in Burbank California Wedding
Alfonso Ribeiro is now a married man. The man that played Carlton Banks is now married to Angela Unkrich. This is the second marriage for the 41 year old Ribeiro who has a 9 year old daughter from his first wife.
He and Angela have only been engaged for a few months, he popped the question in July. Writing on his twitter:
I got engaged last night to Angela on Lake Tahoe surrounded by our dear friends and my daughter, Greatest day of my life
To pull off the event in such a short time, the two used famed wedding planner Michael Russo. The marriage took place in Burbank, 175 guests were in attendance but no mention of Will Smith.

Unkrich is from Swedesburg, Iowa and appears to be just that. She is the daughter of a farmer and is a writer herself. Celebrity Net Worth has him at $5 Million. A sum that is tough to believe. Ribeiro did Broadway as the Tap Dance Kid, he starred in Silver Spoons from 1984 to 1987, Fresh Prince from 1990 – 1996, In the House from 1995 – 1999, and a bunch of projects he is currently working on including directing a show for Disney. $5 Million has got to be a little low.

Modern Family Star Jesse Tyler Ferguson is Engaged – to His Boyfriend!
Just in case you didn’t know, Jesse Tyler Ferguson is Gay in real life, and now he is engaged. He recently announced the news appropriately in a video released on the website for “Tie the Knot”. Tie the Knot is a foundation that promotes marriage equality.
In the video posted , the couple can be seen wearing bow ties. This isn’t just a fashion statement, but a symbol that the organization uses to symbolize “Tying the Knot”. Get it?
Justin Mikita is a lawyer by definition. He and Jesse Tyler Ferguson have been dating since January of 2011. According to Mikita’s Linked In profile, he hasn’t done much lawyering since meeting Ferguson. He was a feature legal clerk for Universal Pictures, a job that ended in May 2010. October of the same year he began to work in nonprofit for the American Foundation for Equal Rights
Ferguson and Mikita actually founded “Tie the Knot” together and Ferguson has turned fashion designer by designing a line of bow ties that will sell online for $25 to promote the cause. The ties will be available at popular tie selling website TheTieBar.com.
At age 27, and with a fiancé who makes an estimated $65,000 per episode, Mikita can concentrate on running their foundation.
Their engagement video was a nice way to introduce the foundation on a large scale to America. During the X minute clip Jesse says they are just like any other couple,
‘We want our interpersonal relationship to be acknowledged in a union formalized via a wedding ceremony,’
‘We’re just like millions of other Americans who want basic civil rights.’
I’m all for Gay marriage, why shouldn’t gay men be introduced to the joys of alimony!

50 Cent Speaks Out In Support of Frank Ocean.
Frank Ocean got some support from an unlikely source, 50 Cent. Not one to beat around the bush, Fif put it bluntly,
“Anyone that has an issue with Frank Ocean is an idiot, I think Frank Ocean is a talented artist, I think he’s created material that made me know his name, that impressed me, with things he said on a song like ‘Novacane.’”
50 also gave props to the timing of Ocean’s coming out of the closet. He knows it was more than just coincidence that the news dropped just a week before his album,
You can call it brave or you can call it marketing, because it was intentional – it wasn’t an accident.”
50 acknowledged that this was different then past artists who have come out, like Kenny Greene, or the rumors that surrounded Luther Vandross. They never released controversial information about their sexuality just before a release of new music. 50 says,
“There are artists before who have made these choices, just not having made the choice to expose it to the general public before an actual release of music,”
I think 50 is more enamored by the way it effected record sales more than anything. He could care less what the impact is for Ocean and the gay community. I bet Fif right now is trying to find an artist that is in the closet so he can sign and have him come out before his first album release. Or is he thinking on how to drop a gay mix tape – not sure what that is, but 50 will figure that out and drop one. The man is about his business and I don’t blame him. If you can make good music and good money 50 cent doesn’t give a “f’ what your sexuality is. Like he said,
”Obama is for same-sex marriage. If the president is saying that, then who am I to go the other way?”

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris are Back. Hef Welcomes the Runaway Brideback into the Mansion!
I thought Crystal Harris was cruel before but at least I was happy she didn’t marry Hef. She had the decency to break up with the man before the marriage actually went through.
This is the first time that I actually ever thought of Hugh Hefner as a tool. I know how he has the bunnies on his mansion an he pays for them etc. etc. That’s kind of “toolish” but he has the money and it’s just what he does. But taking this chick back….Come on Hef!
Don’t you remember she said he only lasted 2 seconds in bed and they only had sex once? She said that he didn’t even get completely naked.
HOW DID THEY RECONCILE?
Well Hugh took to twitter to explain,
“It’s Mary O’Conner that brought Crystal Harris back. Crystal was miserable & said so. Mary told Crystal to write & tell me, which she did,”
Of course Harris was on top of the world and she also took to twitter to tell the world,
“Happy to be back home at the Playboy Mansion with @hughhefner and our puppy Charlie. I missed all the love and laughs. Yes @hughhefner and I are back together. Yes I am his #1 girl again. Yes we are happy. Hope that clears up any confusion! Xo.”
I’m not sure who the number one girl was before but she has been replaced. I’m not sure if that causes any animosity but I would be super pissed. Hef seems to think everything in the mansion is under control. He also tweeted,
Shera & my other Mansion girlfriends welcomed Crystal here at dinner on Tuesday night, before playing games together. Getting back together with Crystal Harris shouldn’t be a big surprise, since I have a history of remaining close to former girlfriends.”
I’m not sure what he sees in Crystal but that 2 seconds of living he got from her that one time but have blew his mind!!
