Diddy’s Former Group “Day 26” are No More. Band Splits before Release of third Album.
I was wondering what happened to those dudes. I thought they would at least have 4 or 5 albums but alas they fell to the fate of the Making the Band curse: Not Getting Past Two Albums! Just before their long awaited third album potentially entitled “A New Day”, it was announced last week that they were no more. OK, not announced but mentioned by original band member Willie Tyler.
Fans were given a sneak peak via twitter exchanges that implied that Brian was out.
Willie, who basically couldn’t take it any more has flown solo. He is working on his own joints and a mixtape. In an interview with urbanbridgez Willie says on two separate occasions that the band is done.
First he says,
things changed and I’m not out here pointing fingers but we’re going to wait…that’s going to be a whole other interview where we get all the way down to the nitty gritty of it. But I got love for all of the brothers, but as of now there is no more Day 26
Then he says,
Me and the remaining members came to the decision that we needed to just go on and do our own thing. Just know I was there and once we come up with something that we want to make public, y’all will have it there. But there is no more Day 26!
A week after that interview, Willie, Brian, Robert and Mike released an official statement,

Day 26 looked like they were going to beat Danity Kane by making a third album. They got out two singles and even had a web series, which was a smart effort. They knew the fans loved them for their drama and brought it back on a low budget to the internet. All for it to fall apart at the seams.
Maybe they will be like the Wu. They will release solo efforts and then come back together for a reunion album. Willie Taylor has released a solo single called “Instagram Ya Body” and Mike has released a solo of his own called “Time Machine”. Hmm?? Yeah that’s right. I said “Instagram Ya Body”. Hee hee hee.
Jennifer Hudson Will Launch her New Clothing Line This September with QVC!
Jennifer Hudson has already proven herself a woman of many talents. The 30 year old has won an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Grammy. She’s showed us that with a little working out, you can lose weight, and keep it off, now she’s going to show us how to dress. Hudson has launched a new clothing line entitled….You guessed It, “The Jennifer Hudson Collection”.
The moderately priced collection will launch this September and will include coats, tops, leggings, skirts – just about anything you can wear. The price ranges from $50 to the most expensive piece priced at $170. I guess moderately priced is accurate for once.
Tuesday night in The Sky Room of the New Museum in New York, Hudson gave onlookers a sneak peak at what she had to offer. She will be launching with QVC by her side and she was beaming with pride as she unveiled some pieces from her collection. Hudson stated,
I’m nervous and excited at the same time!
I hope the public embraces my line…it’s my baby.
I’ve been on both sides of the fence. I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it.
She was referring to her new size 6 figure. I’m pretty sure that size 6 isn’t average in today’s world. At least in the US.
Hudson’s line will launch on September 10th with a QVC network one hour premiere in which she will present key pieces of the line herself.
This was a big week for Hudson, earlier we learned that she will have a recurring role on NBC’s “Smash”. At age 30 Hudson is worth an estimated 15 million but we expect to see that number rise quickly in the next year.

Biebers’ Boyfriend Video’s Love Interest Sets the Record Straight from Jump, “I’m Married”.
Rachel Barnes is no dummy. After the full release of Justin Bieber’s boyfriend video, his co-star and love interest, Rachel Barnes was quick to speak out that she will not be trying to get at Bieber. I’m sure the Kim Kardashian death threats from the Elle photos were running around in her head.
She told TMZ that she was taken….like, as in “Married”!
“Justin and Selena are adorably inseparable and I, myself, am already married. I’m a Belieber, but he’s not my boyfriend.”
Barnes is a newlywed; she married last year and said that so far all of the Biebettes have been cool and that the experience was great. Saying,
“It’s been great to be a part of the Bieber madness”.
After three incredibly annoying but effective sneak peek snippets, Bieber released his video last week and has been gaining views at a ridiculous pace…as one can imagine. (Over 17 Million in 3 days).

The Bachelorette Sneak Peak Trailer – Emily Maynard’s 2nd Chance. [Trailer]
With all the negative press surrounding ABC and the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise we almost forgot to worry about the real show. Season 8 of the Bachelorette will be starting shortly and we already know it’s going to be Emily (Maynard). You remember Emily, she actually won Season 15 when Brad proposed to her but we all knew that is wasn’t going to work out. Brad was a straight up psycho. Period. As a single mom, he just wasn’t right and she did the right thing by bailing on that relationship.
Today ABC released he long trailer for this upcoming season. You get to take a peek of all the excitement that is yet to come. After the Season of “Ben”, this franchise needs a reboot because been bored everyone to death!
The producers are planning to shake things up from the start. During the Premiere episode one of the dudes will forgoes the traditional limo and arrives on a helicopter. This leaves you wondering, “Who is this guy?”. Is he richer then the rest? Is he someone from past Seasons? See…..it’s working. You are already in.

In real time she’s down to her final four. The one on one dates started on march 16th so we need to catch up and get our chance in just a few weeks, The new season starts on May 11th. Watch the trailer.

Eva Longoria’s New Dating Show: Meet the Guys Here [video]
Eva Longoria will flex her producing muscle for NBC. She will be producing a dating show called Ready for Love. The premise of the show will be to help 3 bachelors find their true loves.
In a statement regarding the show, Longoria expressed how excited she was and told us what to expect from the show,
”This show is about making real connections and the ongoing search for love, something that both men and women can relate to,
I am excited to be a part of such an innovative and promising format that will help these great guys find true love.”
The inspiration from the show comes from Eva’s personal battle trying to find love in her life.
STAR POWER
To provide the show with an instant fan base, Longoria enlisted the help of Giuliana And Bill Rancic. They will be co-hosting the series.
The show has not only chosen the hosts already but the contestants as well. The three lucky men are: Ben Patton (A Dallas financier), Tim Lopez (From the band Plain White T’s) and Ernest Arguello, an entrepreneur.
The twist with this show is the matchmakers. There are three matchmakers, one for each guy. The matchmakers will select 4 women each and move them into a private home. While they are living there, the matchmakers will basically groom them to better match the bachelor they are representing. Then they will begin to date and the traditional eliminating will occur.

Lindsay Lohan Playboy Cover Leaked Early – All Over the Web [PIC]!
You know I had to do my part to spread he word.
I’m sure this won’t ruin Lindsay’s original plan to release the work on the Ellen Show on December 15, however we get to see a sneak peak for ourselves.
I have to say, I’m impressed. From the way Lindsay has been looking recently I’m surprised the cover came out so well. It’s amazing what a keg of make up and some airbrushing can accomplish.
