Piers Morgan

Petition to Deport Piers Morgan For Anti-Gun Position Just Fires Morgan Up Even More.

After a heated debate on his show, where Piers addresses gun advocate John Lott, arms supporters are calling for Piers deportations.  The exchange between the two got heated, when Morgan asked Lott why a kindergarten teacher needed three guns, including a semi-automatic weapon in her house.

Piers lost his temper two or three time’s during the emotional exchange.  After that night gun proponents have launched a petition created to deport Piers Morgan out of the country and back to the U.K. In just a few days the petition, which is posted on the White House website already has 25,000 signatures.  In response Piers tweeted,

The basis of the petitions is that he is attacking our Constitution by going after the 2nd Amendment.  The petition reads,

“British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.”

Piers, not to be one bullied and also being quite clever himself tweeted back.

Well played Piers.  Well Played. Here is a clip of the heated debate.  It’s Piers Morgan, Dan Gross, the president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, John Lott and Congressman Jerrold Nadler.

LA Reid Leaving X Factor

L.A. Reid is Done with the X Factor

Honestly I never liked L.A. Reid for this job.  He has too much polish and prestige to be a television judge.  I think Reid agrees.  Reid will not be returning to the show.  Reids last show will be the finale due to air next week.  Reid left his job as chairman and CEO of Island Def Jam and is now the CEO of Epic which is a division of Sony Entertainment.  Epic’s line up of artists include Sade, Fionna Apple and Ciara.  Reid acknowledges that he is truly a CEO not a judge,  and he told Access Hollywood that he needs to get back to work,

“I have to go back and, I have a company to run that I’ve kind of neglected and it saddens me a little bit but only a little bit, It was a nice break, it was a nice departure from what I’ve done for the past 20 years, but now I gotta go back to work.”

He also insured fans that it has nothing to do with the fights that we so often see between him and Simon.

“I love Simon, We have a great relationship, we have fun together, we talk, we laugh, we do bad things, we’re friends. I owe so much to Simon. I really have a lot [of] respect for him and I always will. I support him, I support the show and I’ll always be in business with him.”

As of now, Reid can actually win.  As mentor for the “over 25’s”, artist Tate Stevens is still in this thing and has been voted into the finals.  Reid says his experience with Tate has made him a new fan of country music.

“I can’t even claim to have been a country music fan, but, you know what, I am now, but more importantly, I am a Tate Stevens fan,”

Tate will be joined in “X Factor” finals by soloist Carly Rose Sonenclar and girl band Fifth Harmony.

L.A. Reid has a net worth of $300 million

Angus t Jones Attempts to Apologize

Two and A Half Men’s Angus T. Jones Tries to Recant His Statement with an Apology. Too Late Buddy!

Just 24 hours ago, I was writing the story behind Angus T Jones attack on the show that basically made him.  24 hours ago, a salary of $350,000 an episode was not good enough for him.  That is more than 3 times the salary of a person with a six figure income.  This 19 year old made this per episode.

Just in case you missed the rant, here is a portion of what Angus had to say,

“I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men’ and I don’t want to be on it, If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.”

Someone must have smacked some sense into him, because today he is trying to do a complete 180.  Jones released an apology today in a feeble attempt to backtrack.  In the statement he expressed the following,

“I have been the subject of much discussion, speculation and commentary over the past 24 hours. While I cannot address everything that has been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear.

Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family.

Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date. I thank them for the opportunity they have given and continue to give me and the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.

I also want all of the crew and cast on our show to know how much I personally care for them and appreciate their support, guidance and love over the years. I grew up around them and know that the time they spent with me was in many instances more than with their own families. I learned life lessons from so many of them and will never forget how much positive impact they have had on my life.

I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that.”

Charlie Sheen was quick to take this opportunity to express his opinion stating that the show is cursed!  In his comment, Sheen throws a reference to Hale-Bopp which is the comet that the ultra-religious Heavan’s Gate crew thought an alien space craft was following.  Sheen says

“With Angus’ Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed,”

Angus’ apology is somewhat disappointing but predictable.  With a star like Agnus comes a publicist, a manager and an entourage all that wouldn’t exist without Angus and/or Two and a Half Men.  This statement was written for him and I assure you he was forced to make it.

Angus managed to bite the hand that fed him and sh*t where he eats all at the same time.  Instead of trying to be a televangelist-toughguy he should have used his brain.  Instead of pissing away a job that pays $350K an episode he should be thinking how much good that money could do.  I don’t fault him as much as I fault his camp. They got fat and lazy spending his money and before they knew it, he was loco.

Honestly after he turned 13, he was kind of corny on the show anyway.

Still no words from Chuck Lorre, CBS or Jon Crier, which probably isn’t a good thing.   When Lorre speaks – everyone tends to listen.  I will be staking this one closely.

Angus T Jones and Christopher Hudson

Watch “Two and a Half Men’s” Child Star Angus T Jones Bash His Own Show. Calls it Filth!

Angus T Jones caught the holy ghost!  Apparently in his production trailer he held church.  The 19 year old, begin to testify against the show and the lifestyle that has made him a millionaire.  A millionaire a few times over might I add.

There are two videos, Pt 1 and Pt. 2 where Angus is basically sitting in his trailer with Christopher Hudson, the person who does the religious Youtube videos, who appears to be interviewing Jones but not really asking questions.  He doesn’t need to.  Angus is doing a good job of burying himself.

The video is posted by a group called Forerunner Christian Church for their website called Forerunner Chronicles,

The first video Angus doesn’t do that much damage. He basically tells his story about how he started acting, doing commercials at age 4, and how he attended a non-denominational Christian school.  He then tells how he started smoking weed, how his costar on the show told him to do the show for the money and how in his last negotiated contract that he thought he would try and be an advocate of God and Jesus Christ.

Part 2 is really when he really starts to do some damage.  Maybe not to self, but to his career.  Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.  It gets good basically at 7:48 into the second video.  Angus says,

Jake from ‘Two and a Half Men’ means nothing. He is a nonexistent character …

If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men.’ I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ and I don’t want to be on it  Please stop watching it; stop filling your head with filth. Please. People say it’s just entertainment

Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, and especially with what you watch.”

To me this is far worse than Charlie Sheen’s meltdown because it’s serious.  Angus T babbles about going to church and even says at one point,

I like Black people.  Black people Rock!!

I’m not mad at that, and the fact that it was sincere made it that much better.

Warner Bros has made a statement by not making a statement.  They officially declined to comment.  Paul McGuire said

“We are not commenting on the comments made by Angus T. Jones”

Angus made 8 million for Season 10 of Two and a Half Men earning $300,000 per episode.   He negotiated $350,000 per episode on his last contract.  To be only 19, and have this much money, if he never found work again for the rest of his life, he would still be ok, this scenario might certainly be the case.

Angus T Jones has a networth of $15 Million

Here are the videos.  I listed Part 2 first.  If you are short on time, jump right to 7min 48 seconds.

dane and dempsey in Greys anatamoy season 8 finale

Eric Dane aka McSteamy Leaving Greys, Dempsey Tweets Spoiler Photo

Pardon me readers but I had no idea that Eric Dane was leaving Grey’s.  The news came out last week and was confirmed by Dane and Rhimes both to the press.  Dane will be leaving the show sometime during the ninth season.  He will be doing a number of shows to help close out his character and then POOF!  No more Sloane.

Rhimes told TVLine,

“After much consideration and conversations, he and I have decided that this is the right time for his storyline to end, We’re a big family here at Grey‘s with a long history together and Eric will always remain an important part of our family.”

Then Dane released a statement,

“I am extremely  grateful to everyone at Grey’s, ABC and Shondaland for the experience and memories I have had over the course of this run, It has been wonderful to work alongside and learn from a creative force, such as Shonda Rhimes.”

DEMPSEY TWEETS A LAID UP PHOTO OF MARK SLOANE!

Before ABC made him remove it, Patrick Dempsey tweeted out this picture of Sloane layed up looking crazy!

Will this be how McSteamy makes his exit out of Greys?

NAHHHH…

According to the TV God herself assume nothing.  Shonda Rhimes says that viewers should not making any assumptions about Sloane just becaue he’s leaving.  In fact things are going to be crazy-twisted when the show goes back on air.  Rhimes says,

“When we start the season, we are ahead enough in time where we see the outcome of lots of things. And in the second episode of the season, there’s rewind — we go backwards — to where they’re still in the forest, So you see what happened and in the next episode, you see how we get there.”

I’m starting to worry now if the show will make it to a 10th season.  We know Dempsey is out.  We lost Teddy (Kim Raver) and Lexi (Chyler Leigh) last season.  There won’t be much left.

We will find out soon enough.  The new season starts September 27th.

What do you think, will there be a Season 10?
