Happy Days Star Erin Moran Photographed Living Out of a Motel

Remember Erin Moran who played Joanie Cunningham?  She was the little girl on Happy Days.  She played  Ron Howards little sister, and she even had a spin off called Joanie Loves Chachi costarring her television boyfriend Scott Baio.

Fast forward to 2012 -

Ron Howard is a Hollywood powerhouse, his net worth is closing in on 100 Million and he has several projects in the works with A list celebrities.

Erin Moran’s life went in a slightly different direction.  The wrong direction.  She was caught by paparazzi outside of a Holiday Inn in Corydon, Indiana looking “Ratchet”.

Radaronline reports that Erin and her husband have been evicted from their trailer.  The trailer is owned by her Mother in law who was sick and tired of Moran’s partying.

The story originated from the National Enquirer as a source reported to the magazine,

‘Erin was going out to bars and coming home at all hours of the night, sometimes with her rowdy bar friends, and Steve’s mom just couldn’t take it anymore,’

I’m always tentative when quoting stories from the Enquirer until I saw these photos.

To be fair, as much money as Ron Howard has…he could easily be photographed and called homeless.

Moran’s last decent gig was on celerity Fit Club back in 2008, and she recently received a check for $65,000 for a law suit that the Happy Days cast won against CBS who owns the show.   CBS was found guilty of not paying monies to the cast for the sale of merchandising.  I’m sure that $65,000 went fast.

You can’t help but feel sorry for Moran, like many child stars, she has fallen hard.

Like I always say, Once you’re over the hill, you begin to pick up speed.
