Rihanna’s Topless Poster Offends Dublin Residents

You would think that the only danger a topless Rihanna billboard might cause would be car accidents from distracted drivers. However, some people in Dublin apparently don’t appreciate Rihanna’s beautiful body plastered all over the place. The topless posters in question were made for her “Diamonds” world tour and they feature an image from Rihanna’s latest album.

The image causing all the controversy shows a topless Rihanna who is only covered up by her elbow and the album title. You can see the image down below…

Now, does that picture offend you? Well, it apparently offends the people of Dublin. They have taken matters into their own hands and have actually covered up the poster by stapling clothes to it! A Twitter use by the name of Paul Duane actually snapped a photo of the madness and shared it on his Twitter account, “Somebody has stapled a dress on to this Rihanna poster on Church St. Well done, you complete nutcase.” he wrote.

And another Twitter user posted a picture of a second Rihanna poster that had been covered up, “North King Street, Dublin says a resounding NO to Rihanna’s Boobs!” the user wrote. You can check out both of the covered up posters down below…

I have to admit, that is pretty damn hilarious and clever. They’ve also done a pretty good stapling job, it almost looks professional! Almost like that poster was meant to have a dress stapled on it. The posters are popping up all around Dublin in advance of Rihanna’s scheduled concert at the Aviva Stadium on June 21.

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time people have took it upon themselves to cover up a revealing image. People in New York actually covered the H&M ads that featured Beyonce wearing some pretty tiny bikinis. New Yorkers were apparently covering up the lower half of her body every single day with a piece of paper. It was reported that every night the piece of paper would get torn down, but by the next day someone would have had already placed it back on the poster.

What’s wrong with people? The human body is a beautiful thing! Especially the bodies of Rihanna and Beyonce. Why would you want to cover them up? And don’t give me that, “I don’t want my kids seeing that.” because your kids see worse things on television every single day. Heck, I see worse things when I go Wal-Mart. Do I want to see some 400 pound woman trying to squeeze into a pair of skinny jeans? Hell no, but you don’t see me handing her a pair of sweatpants.

Leave the damn posters alone! Give those dresses to people who really need them.
