Lead Singer of ‘The Calling’ Abducted And Badly Beaten

Alex Band is in a rock band called, “The Calling” they were pretty big back in the early 2000s before breaking up. However, they had recently just joined forces again and got back on the music scene.

Everything was going great for the band until early Sunday morning. Alex and the guys were in Michigan for a music festival this past weekend. At around 4 in the morning on Sunday, Alex went out for a walk to a local mini mart.

In the middle of his walk, a van pulled up next to the singer and the people inside the van forced him inside. They then beat the crap out of the poor guy, severely injuring him and dumping his badly beaten body out by some train tracks close by.

Sometime later in the morning, the band noticed that Alex was gone. They went out and searched for Alex and found him by the train tracks shortly after starting their search. He was then taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown at this time.

Local law enforcement confirmed to TMZ that an incident report was filed and that they are investigating  the incident. However, they could not offer up in details at this time.

Let’s hope he bounces back from this attack and gets back to doing what he obviously born to do. I mean, how awesome must it be to have the last name “band” and be in a rock band! It’s almost as if it was his calling from the start…
