Mariah Carey Slams American Idol And Nicki Minaj

We all knew that Mariah Carey didn’t really enjoy her one season as a judge on ‘American Idol’ but we didn’t know she was THIS miserable.

The 43-year-old singer was on ‘Hot 97’ the other day and she revealed her true feelings about the show. She opened up by saying, “Honestly, I hated it.” She then went on to explain in more detail…

“I thought it was going to be a three-person panel. They gave me a nice dangling monetary moment, and I was just like…’Okay. Randy Jackson will be there. I’ve know him forever, he used to play bass for me. Like, this isn’t a big deal. This will be nothing.’ But it wasn’t that…It was like going to work every day in hell with Satan.”

Ouch. We all know who “Satan” is in this story…Ryan Seacrest. No, obviously she was talking about the one and only Nicki Minaj. They were getting in fights with each other from day one on that show. It reached the point where people would tune in just to watch them fight. The contestants took a back seat to the drama at the judges’ table.

“I like being in the studio better and going on my own tours, etc. So we’re going back to that.” She told listeners. That sounds nice and all, but we’re  just not sure how she is going to find time to do all of that while having to take of three kids.
