The Father From ‘7th Heaven’ Admits To Molesting Multiple Children On Audio Recording

Stephen Collins, the actor who played the perfect dad/pastor on 7th Heaven, has admitted to some sickening crimes. He confessed to his estranged wife that he was a serial child molester.

This admission came back in 2012 during a therapy session with his wife Faye Grant. Apparently, he came clean to her about the crimes privately, and that’s what prompted them them to seek professional help from a therapist. What Collins didn’t know at the time was that the therapy session was secretly being recorded.

Apparently Grant’s lawyer advised her it was legal to record the conversation, because in California you are allowed to secretly record conversations to obtain evidence that the person being recorded committed a violent felony. In the secret recording, Collins admits to some sickening crimes.

He admits to molesting an 11-year-old girl, who was related to his first wife. “There was one moment of touching where her hand, I put her hand on my penis.” He admits during the therapy session. This happened multiple times when she was 11, 12 and 13.

Grant then asked him if he had an erection while this happened, and he replied, “No, I mean, no. Partial, maybe I think.” He also talked about another girl who lived in their neighborhood back in Los Angeles. He claims he tried to make things right by apologizing to her years later, because we all know a “sorry” makes up for molestation.

According to the TMZ, there is an active investigation going on. The NYPD official claims there are “at least 3 victims” and the nature of the investigation is, “inappropriate sexual contact with minors.”

This is certainly troubling news, and you have to wonder if he molested any one of the young children he has worked with throughout the years. It’s crazy to think just three weeks ago we were reporting about the wonderful “7th Heaven” cast reunion.

It all just seems so creepy now.
