Steve Harvey Breaks Down, Think Like a Man, Cry Like a Woman?
Steve Harvey, who will be starring in his own talk show this fall, and made his last appearance as a stand up comic this weekend. At the end of his show, capping off 27 years he said farewell and in doing so, he did the ugly cry.
When I say ugly…it was ugly.
He told the fans,
“Thank you for loving me, thank you for supporting me, thank for making my dreams come true, you can’t be famous without people. “
He sniffed and sobbed and in between thanked everyone on the Harvey team. He thanked God, his partner, Rushion McDonald (he’s the producer behind Sister, Sister, the Jamie Fox Show, The Parker’s and The Think Like a Man Movies), his bodyguard, and his wife. He said regarding his wife Marjorie Bridges
“I want to thank Marjorie for sky rocketing my life. I wasn’t doing good, until you came along girl. I sure thank you”.
Then he put his fist to his forehead, and gave more of the ugly cry.
There are two type of men that cry like that. A man’s man, and a beyatch. With all that Steve Harvey has done, seen and been through I will stand up and say he’s a man’s man, but it was close.
