Katt Wiliams Cries on the News While Announcing His Retirement on The Street of Seattle.
In other crazy-ass Katt Williams news, the comedian announced that he was retiring from stand up today during an interview he gave on the street. The clip was actually shown during a broadcast on WKYS News 4. This is the most publicity Williams has probably ever received. The news caster does a great job of summarizing the antics of Katt Williams over the last few days which include:
- Getting kicked out of his South Lake Union hotel
- Arguing with restaurant customers
- threatening the restaurant manager with a pool cue
- Throwing a lit cigarette in a car with a family in it, hitting a woman in the face
- Throwing a rock at that car
- Assaulting fans after his performance on Friday
and the list goes on…..

Chris Brown Deletes Twitter Account after Vulgar Exchange with Virtually Unknown Comedian!
Twitter continues to show us on a daily basis that celebrities are real people with real emotions and that when pushed can say just about anything despite the damage that can be done to their brand.
Chris Brown has been doing his best to stay out of trouble but trouble found him. He sent a tweet out commenting on his appearance saying that he was looking quite old,
‘I look old as f***! I’m only 23…’

In steps Jenny Johnson. Despite having over 300,000 followers, very little can be found on Johnson besides the fact that she is an avid twitter user, and comedy writer and that she can be quite vulgar herself.
This time Johnson did a good job at baiting C-Breezi in, and then playing the victim. This might be the first time I’ve sided with Brown, maybe ever. Let’s not forget, the man is only 23 and these are the kinds of things a 23 year old says when verbally attacked, not to mention he is slightly funny. I will let the exchange speak for itself.

Comedian Brandon T. Jackson Picked for Lead Role in Television Version of Beverly Hills Cop
Back in September we learned that Eddie Murphy was bringing Beverly Hills Cop to the small screen. The CBS pilot will take place after the three movies where the character Axel Foley, who Murphy made famous, is still alive and well. The show will dive into the life of Axel’s son, Aaron Foley, who is a lower ranking officer trying to live up to his father’s legend.
As the deal for the show gets solidified we learn that Murphy will be Axel in the pilot and might possibly continue on for the rest of the show. The big news is that the main character, Axel Foley’s son has been cast. Brandon T. Jackson is slated to play the lead.
Jackson is a comedian who started off with small parts in movies such as “Ali” and “8 Mile” and had what some call his breakout performance in the movie “Tropic Thunder”.
Murphy will be teaming up with Shawn Ryan (creator of The Shield), to executive produce the project.
This actually has potential. CBS has done very well with crime dramas (Blue Blood, Hawaii 50). I think the Beverly Hills Cop franchise is great and you can’t go wrong with Shawn Ryan, if all the pieces fall together CBS could have a winner.

During the Cannes Film Festival Jackie Chan was interviewed while promoting his newest film, Chinese Zodiac. Chinese Zodiac marks Chan’s 100th movie. 100!! That is Samuel Jackson status, except the only action that Samuel has seen is when he was swept off his feet by Eddie Murphy in coming to America!!
Since 1960, Jackie Chan has been putting mind and body to the test for our entertainment. He explained in an interview, not only was he tired physically but also wanted the world to know that he’s not a one trick pony. He can actually act. There are many levels to Jackie Chan, he explains,
“This is my last action film, I tell you, I’m not young any more. I’m really, really tired and the world is too violent right now. It’s a dilemma – I like action but I don’t like violence. For the last 10 years I have been making some other different movies. I want to be an Asian Robert De Niro. I don’t just want to be an action star, I want to be a true actor. I want to get rid of my image.”

When Chan woke up the next morning he couldn’t believe that he retired. He wished someone would have told him! He jumped on facebook to set the record straight,
“Yesterday in my press conference in Cannes for Chinese 12 Zodiac I said that this movie was my last big action movie. Today I was shocked when I woke up to read all the news coverage that I was retiring from doing Action movies. I just want to let everyone know that I am not retiring from doing action movies. What I meant to say is that I need to do less of the life risking stunts on my movies. After all these years of doing so many stunts and breaking so many bones, I need to take better care of my body so I can keep working.
I will continue to do international action movies.
And I will keep improving my English

Phew! If Chan does do any real acting it will most likely not be in English, and quite honestly, I don’t want to see Jackie Chan doing drama, honestly I’m not sure who does. However at age 58, it might be something that we should get used to. I don’t know too many 60 year olds flying through the air without breaking a hip!!

Tracy Morgan Hospitalized Again, Forced to Cancel Denver Show Due to Illness!
Tracy Morgan fell ill again and was rushed to a Denver hospital on Saturday forcing him to cancel his show at the Comedy Works South. TMZ doing what TMZ does caught pictures of the 43 year old funny-man not being so funny.
He was literally being wheeled through Denver International Airport in a wheelchair. Then they capture a photo of him slumped over looking physically exhausted. Like a chubby college kid who stayed up and partied way to late. He made an appearance on The View last week and appeared to be in good spirits and in good health so this has come as a shock. The report is that he is suffering from flu-like symptoms and dehydration.
Morgan took to twitter and apologized to his fans for cancelling but after seeing these photos how can you not forgive him, the man is truly not feeling well at all.

‘Feeling a little better.. had to call in sick on Saturday. I’m sorry I had to cancel. Love you Denver. I’ll make it up to you
In January he collapsed at Sundance where he was treated for exhaustion and altitude sickness which could be the same case here as he was in Denver.
Morgan is also a diabetic and received a kidney transplant in 2010, his health has been a concern ever since. With the unexpected death of comedian Patrice last year, let’s home T-Morg takes the right precautionary steps. At only 43 years old, he has a lot of years left to be funny.

Martin Lawrence is Filing For Divorce with wife Shamicka Gibbs after 2 Year Marriage.
As Martin’s career was starting to get on track with a new CBS pilot, his personal life has derailed. Martin Lawrence will be joining the ranks of the Celebrity divorced. He and long time girlfriend short time wife, Shamicka Gibbs will be divorcing after only two years of marriage. Lawrence and Gibbs had been together for 15 years before he decided to Put a Ring on it in 2010. (That Damn Beyonce Song!!) Martin has done a very good job keeping his relationship and his children out of the tabloids, but to no avail. The couple released a joint statement today,
“Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together,”
This is the second marriage for Martin Lawrence. His first marriage lasted also just two years. He married Miss Virginia Patricia Southall who is now married to Emmit Smith. He’s got two daughters with Shamicka and one with first wife Patricia. It looks like Martin is two and through when it comes to wife’s. At age 47, I wonder if the comedian will make it back down the aisle ever again. (41)
