Kandi Burruss Decides to Sue Kim Zolciak for Money Earned for her Song “Tardy for the Party”.
I hope Kim didn’t spend that Tardy for the party money yet because Kandi is coming for her cut. Although Kim withdrew early from this season of Real Housewives’ of Atlanta her name was brought up when Kandi accused Kim of stealing the name she had set aside for a baby if she had one. The name “Kash” was Kandi’s idea and Kim took it for her newborn son.
Apparently Kandi is determined to get “Kash” one way or another. Tuesday Kandi went to court and filed damages for copyright infringement over the song Tardy for the Party. Kandi says that she and co-writer Rodney Richards are due some compensation. The suit says, that she is seeking
……damages for copyright infringement due to Defendants’ unauthorized and unlawful licensing, distribution and sale of Plaintiffs’ creative works, namely a sound recording embodying a performance of a musical composition entitled “Tardy for the Party.”
The song was recorded 3 years ago and Kandi said that she was paid $4000 for the work done on the track. After things grew tense between Kandi and Kim, Kandi decided to halt the second song they did together called “The Ring Didn’t Mean a Thing”. Kim went on to do two more songs, Google Me and Love Me First neither which came close to the success of Tardy for the Party.
Kim insists that the lawsuit is a publicity stunt and that Kandi was not the writer of the song. As she tells it, her daughter wrote it as a country tune with her music teacher. Kim took to twitter to voice her frustration.

To date Tardy for the Party has sold over 100,000 copies. Interesting enough, the lawsuite was file 1 day before the Reunion show which was filmed tonight.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are Engaged – Kandi says, A Pre-nup will be Signed!
If Todd thought he was going to pump, marry and dump Kandi for her millions, then he quickly needs a plan B. Kandi is more then hip to the game. She reads the blogs, she knows what everyone was thinking and that is simply that, “Gold Diggers can come with a Penis”.
Todd popped the question to Kandi on New Year’s the same day as Nene and Greg.
I’m not mad at Todd. Even if Kandi was the checkout girl at Shop Rite she would be a good catch. She’s got personality; she’s got a body and a cute face. Throw in a net worth of $35 million and you leave your current girlfriend and move in with Kandi with the quickness.
That’s basically what he did (read here), however if he thought he was getting half of her fortune, he better think again. Kandi took to her blog on BRAVO and set the record straight, She is getting a Prenuptial Agreement. If Todd didn’t know that before, he knows that now. Kandi wrote,
I do believe in pre-nups. I know that some people feel if you are truly in love and are planning to be dedicated to your marriage that a pre-nup somehow means the person requesting the pre-nup is expecting the marriage to fail. I don’t agree. I feel like it’s a safety precaution. Just like if you have a fire extinguisher in your home it doesn’t mean you expect it to burn down, but you’re just prepared to put out the fire before it starts if need be.
As we see on all of the Housewives’ shows and reality shows in general, friends turn into enemies in a matter of months. When there is love and money involved disagreements reach new levels of intensity.
Burruss says she has witnessed this first hand,
I’ve had friends and associates who didn’t get a pre-nup say “they didn’t need one,” “she or he would never do that,” etc. But then later when they got divorced, things got ugly, and the person tried to get everything, they were like, “I would have never thought they would have done that to me,” “she or he is not the person I married,” blah, blah, blah. I feel like people do some crazy and vindictive things when they’re hurt, so I think there should be agreements set in place while everyone is thinking clearly. That way if D-day ever comes (and hopefully it won’t, but if it does), then it doesn’t have to get uglier and more hurtful than it already is.
When it comes to pre-nups there is no double standard. You are getting a good woman who is willing to share her life and money with you. You screw up, you leave with what you came in with and in Todd’s case, that’s his hopes and dreams, not much else. If he refuses to sign then just pull a Steadman. Right Oprah?
Meet the newest Housewive of Atlanta: Porsha Williams Stewart.
After considering several people for the last remaining spot in the cast, including Cosby shows’ Keisha Knight Pulliam, the network has chosen Porsha.
This has been confirmed as a done deal, Porsha is fully onboard and sources say she has been taping the show for over a month.

Rumor has it that Kim Zolciak’s involvement has been greatly minimized due to her pregnancy. The cast thought it was unfair for Kim to receive similar perks and pay while excusing herself from the action using her pregnancy as a crutch. There are reports that production was delayed while these matters were addressed.
In case you were wondering how Porsha Williams – Stewart got her money, it’s by way of the “Stewart” part. She is the wife of Kordell Stewart. The NFL’s former QB for the Pittsburgh Steelers. That Stewart. The one who earned 11 years’ worth of NFL checks and has a net worth of $22 million dollars.
Stewart and Williams were married last year so she will be joining Cynthia and Phaedra as the only actual “wives” .
Porsha has deep Southern roots herself. She is the first Granddaughter of the late Civil Rights Leader and founder of “Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry,” the Rev. Hosea Williams. She is a true native of Atlanta and should make things interesting.
Does this mean the show is trying to take a more positive, responsible approach? Will the granddaughter of a reverend, the wife of an ex football player turned sports analyst calm everyone down and promote positivity and good will?
I sure hope not! Bring on the new season!

Keshia Knight Pulliam Takes to Twitter to Deny Rumors that she’s the Next Atlanta Housewife!
As usual my email gets blown up when anything that has to do with the Atlanta Housewives jumps off, and this was no exception.
Word on the Street was that Keshia Knight Pulliam was going to be joining the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Who? Rudy Huxstable – That’ s who.
It made sense. Remember that scene where she ran into Nene? I thought it was strange but now that actually fits perfectly. After sifting through emails I go right to the most reliable source for everything Atlanta, the website Straight From the A! and there it was. They said that Keshia is actually taping the show now.
After reading through their post, there are a lot of past denials by Pulliam mentioned so I figured it best to check her twitter. Voila! A fresh tweet today. Apparently she reads Straight From the A! as well and she adamantly denied any association with the RHOA. Kesia Knight Pulliam tweeted from @peachespulliam,
I am NOT joining the cast of RHOA this season…next season or any season. I honestly don’t know where this rumor is coming from!! Pls RT.
What’s the real deal?
We actually won’t know until the cast photo is revealed which will be soon. If she is filming the show as many reports are that they saw her actually taping with the cast her credibility will be temporarily shot, but very temporary. Once the drama starts no one will care. Right now the cast for the new season is set to be:
Nene Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Pulliam and Kim Zolciak with a questionable Keshia K Pulliam.
WHO THE HECK IS KENYA MOORE??
She is rumored to be the official replacement for Sheree. She is a former Miss USA who doesn’t actually live in Atlanta but is looking to buy a house there. She is also a model and rumor has it that her and Cynthia get into it pretty hot and heavy regarding some of the models that Cynthia selected for a her agency. Known for her curves, attitude and style, Moore will bring “Moore” drama to Atlanta for sure.
